Morris Visitor Publications' national marketing team has done numerous studies and found that Where is a recognizable name to travelers around the world. With these findings comes the conversion of Best Read Guide to Where QuickGuide. You'll find that the revised format continues to give you the lowdown on the great attractions, tours, restaurants, events, shopping and nightlife this town has to offer ... and more.

Another Super Feat on Tap
Tampa will be host to its fourth Super Bowl when the 2009 game is played at Raymond James Stadium. The title contest, Super Bowl XLIII, will be the city's first Super Bowl since 2001, when the Baltimore Ravens defeated the New York Giants, 34-7, in Super Bowl XXXV. The first Super Bowl in Tampa was in 1984, when the Los Angeles Raiders beat the Washington Redskins, 38-9.

About Those Cities' Names ...
In the mid-1880s, Don Vicente Ybor, a cigar maker and Cuban exile, moved his business from Key West to an area just east of Tampa. The next year, the first cigar factory opened and would lead to thousands of Spanish and other immigrants coming to Ybor City. St. Petersburg, meanwhile, was promoted by pioneer and railroad magnate Peter Demens, who brought a railroad system to that city in 1888. The town was called St. Petersburg -- named after Demens, whose birthplace was St. Petersburg, Russia.
